I picked up again the good habit of writing calligraphy.
Although I never had this habit.
I'm even not sure for how long I'd keep on.
But staying in this chinese cultural atmosphere made me feel very great.
Although I'm typing my computer keyboard but I don't wanna be a modern person at all.
Ivano was besides, I asked him to produce the ink for me.
He said:"wow, this is tiring."
I said poudly: "Ha, how come you don't have the chinese patience?"

Taipei life, as busy as a dog.
Italy life, as carefree as a tropical fish.
I walk in Ivano's house as if I'm walking in the aquarium.
Because the steps are slow.
One of these days, I bought the new piano.
The noiceless aquarium is with the piano sound!
Everyday I play the piano,
Everyday I'm happy.
The bubbles I pour out there are notes within.

This is my granny,
she's really good at making noudles.
Since she moved from China to Taiwan,
she sell the noudles in all of her life.
Everyone calls her "mrs. Ma"
Everyone knows that she's a very good christian
She always offers the young people to her house tasting her noudes.
She parys to God everyday, and I know what does she pray for.
For this country, for people in the world who are suffering
and for all of us lovely grandchildre.
This is my grandparents wedding picture.
Grandpa passed away when I was 11.
But I still remember him very well.
He's a retired soldier, and he fallowed CKS coming to Taiwan.
His temper was very good, he was a smiling man.
Grandpa always stayed out of the village watchg people playing chess.
I remember grandpa always gave me a little bit allowence with his
warm hand, smiling, a lovely grandpa.

My dad is very manly
he's very resipobsible, earning money and raising us up,
He loves dogs and cooking.
I love shopping with my dad in the department stores or supermarket.
My mom is naive and romantic
she's smart for planning things.
She loves reading and movies.
I love chatting with my mom.
They are grown-ups, almost like old people.
Sometimes maybe they argue for different opinions
but sometimes I heard them screaming in the living room.
They play very childish games, like the teenager tracing games.
I teach my students in my room, and I feel very embarrased.
My dad once with his hand posed as a pistol but he farted to me.
My mom likes to announced that she quited already the fat peanuts,
but I caught her at midnight eating them.
These are my parents.
So after the consideration I picked up this photo,
which is perfectly for showing how they are.

My grandpa is very elegant, back to his old home in China he was a rich young man,
His behavior is like a royalty in my eyes.
His way of treating people is always kind.
His hoppys are elegant too, gardning, music, chinese opera,
politics, having some jade or something.
When I was even younger he had some peagens, or writing calligraphy.
His only weak point is the winter time, having some sticky rices balls.
No matter when I asked him: you want some?
He would answer "I'll have 5!!!"
My grandma is very nice, she grew up in Zhongli
Kind heart, good temper, always with the smile on her face,
All of our neighborhood know her,
They say that granny is a real good person,
But in granny's heart, her grandchildren are no.1
No matter when we ask something from her,
we never get refused.
Granny says there's no food that she hates,
actually we know that's her industrious and thrifty in the natural quality.
No wasting, loving everything, this is our granny.

2008 there were 26 candles on my cake!
I took a long long breath, but still it took me twice to finish blowing them.
The wishes of mine this year were still the same,
Everyone gets healthy, everyone gets welthy, and travel around
When will be the next time that I could again carry my bag,
step in another unknonw country?
I almost forget how did it feel like to go to another foreign land,
take the first foreign breah.
And it;s like a bomb,
Bang, it explored around me.

This is my plant basil.
Everyday 5pm I water it.
It's green and tall because everyday I said to it:
"grow up, grow up my little basil, and I'll put you on my pizza, and I'll eat you!"
"快快長大 快快長大 我的小九層塔 我要把你放在我的比薩上 然後吃掉你"

One day I saw 4 or 5 little shells on the groud
I raised up my head
Huh, the swallows are coming back after a long winter
and also fixed very well the nest that has already done last year
I really admire them, how come that they have so much spit
Hmm, they must be very talktive
I heared the birds singing around.
And I found out 2 grown-up swallows flying beside.
I think one of them must be the baby bird of last year
Well done, he's with his girl, oh no , I mean his wife here as well.
They even have the babies now.
What an active swallow!

Chinese dumpling can be cooked in 3 different ways: fried, steamed, boiled.
"Frying" means to fry dumplings in a flat pan, "steaming" is with a hot boiling water under the plate
which holds the dumplings, "boiling" means to throw the dumplings into the hot water
and boil them, which's also the easiest way.
My favorite type is fried dumpling, cuz my granny always fried them into
the perfect and wonderful condition.
(1)dumpling paste x 30~50 (try to buy it in Chinese store or supermarket, if you wanna
make it by yourself, it needs only the flour and water, then make it into little pieces of circles)
chopped pork x 600g, chopped scallion x 2 cups, chopped leek x 2 cups,
chopped garlic x 4~5, chopped chinese cabbage or cabbage x 5 cups (dry well)
salt x 2 tablesp, white pepper x 1 tablesp, soybean sauce x 1/2cup, sesame oil x 3 tablesp.
(2)soybean sauce x 2 tablesp, white vinegar x 1 tablesp, sesame oil x 1teasp.
a. mix very the ingredient in (1)
b. wrap the ingredient in each little paste and close them very well with the hands
(or with ravioli maker if you have one)
c. put some oil in a flat pan, arrange the dumplings in order and closely to each other
in the pan on the stove, with moderate oven fry them first until the bottom get crispy(4mins).
d. add 1 cup of water and turn the fire in smothered and cover the pan with the top
for 10~15 until the upper part get cooked.
e. flip over the whole dumplings in a plate and add (2)sauce, serve on the table.
中國餃子有三種烹飪方式: 煎, 蒸, 煮
成放餃子的盤子並不加水 用蒸氣悶熟 "煮"指的是丟到水裡滾煮
我最喜歡的是煎熟的餃子 又叫鍋貼 因為我的奶奶技術一流
(1)餃子皮x30~50張 (請嘗試到中國商店或超市購買 如果你想自己做
豬絞肉x600克, 蔥末x2杯, 韭菜末x2杯, 蒜末x4~5瓣,
白菜或包心菜x5杯(擠乾), 鹽x2大匙, 白胡椒x1大匙, 醬油x1/2杯, 蔴油x3大匙
(2)醬油x2大匙, 白醋x1大匙, 蔴油x1小匙
b.將食材包到餃子皮中 用手合緊 (你也可用義式餃子的工具壓緊)
d.再加入一杯水 蓋上蓋子 用慢火煎10~15分鐘至整個餃子熟透

This dish I learned from my Paris land lord,
oh dear, just by looking at the picture and I feel watering in my mouth.
This was the dish that she always made for us.
Juicy beef, smooth potato cube, hmmmm, let's do it!!
Beef x 4~5slices, small potato x 4 (peeled and cut in cubes), tomato x 2 (cut in cubes),
black olives with out the seeds (within or without), shred white onions x 1, olive oil x 1cup,
thyme x 2 tablesp, white wine x 1/2 cup, chopped garlic x 3, salt, black pepper.
a. knead thyme, wine, salt, pepper and garlic into the beef, then add in potato, tomato, onion and oil
b. put the plate in the fridge for 1 hr, make the wine soften the meat.
c. bake the plate in the oven (180'c x 30~40mins)

鮮嫩多汁的牛肉 鬆軟的馬鈴薯 啊~~~快來做做看吧~
牛排肉x4~5片, 小馬鈴薯x4顆(削皮並切丁), 蕃茄x2顆(切丁)
黑橄欖去籽(可有可無), 洋蔥x1顆(切絲), 橄欖油x1杯
百里香x2大匙, 白酒x1/2杯, 大蒜x3顆(切碎), 鹽, 黑胡椒
a. 將百里香, 白酒, 大蒜, 鹽, 黑胡椒搓揉到牛排中使其入味 加入馬鈴薯, 蕃茄, 洋蔥, 橄欖油
b. 將盤子放入冰箱冷藏一個小時 讓白酒軟化肉質
c. 入烤箱烘烤 (180'c x 30~40分鐘)
